Out of School Youth Services

Assists youth with education attainment and workforce  preparation ages 18-24.

• Access to high school diploma or high school equivalency courses
• Paid or unpaid work experience
• Job search services
• Access to employment and training resources
• Access to employability skills, interview, and resume
• Mentoring for academic attainment and personal goal-setting
• HiSET test preparation (previously known as the GED) 

Participants must meet the following criteria:

• Youth must not be enrolled in high school
• Must live in Sacramento county
• Must meet federal income requirements setforth by WIOA eligibility guidelines
• Must have a significant barrier to employment
